Cutting Edge Motor Trimming PTY LTD story began in Merrimac in 2008. Founded by Steve Jackson, the company worked at this location for 3 years before moving to our current Burleigh location in 2011.

Steve first started his apprenticeship with his Farther in 1991, so over 25 years experience in the motor trimming industry and is passionate about his craft. He is a second-generation tradesman who learned his skills from his father, who was one of the best in the industry. His father was a hard task master who was a highly skilled tradesman of the old-school technique, where perfection and pride in your work was paramount.

Before starting his own business, Steve travelled the world and gained valuable experience working as a motor trimmer in prestigious London and Canadian establishments. Through this exposure to the industry, Steve was able to refine his skills and gain additional knowledge from the international industry.

When Steve returned to the Gold Coast he started his own business in motor trimming and shade sails. In addition to his motor trimming experience, Steve also worked extensively in the shade sail industry alongside his father and brother.
